Sake that we tasted:

Nama-Nama - house sake, a real crowd pleaser

Teion Sakura - white wine-like sake

Genshu Nama-Nama - Full Octane sake goodness!

In August we met up with our good friends Jamie and Daisy to explore Kingston. The only thing we really had planned was to take them out for dinner at the Kingston Brewing Company. We found lots of great places to eat, and they were good enough to come on the show and talk about what we discovered in Kingston together!

This episode is three pretty unrelated things (except for the fact that all three things are unhealthy/fried). We still have Disney part 2 to edit and we just recorded an episode about Mill Street Brewery and Izumi fresh pressed sake made right in downtown Toronto! Try and stay cool everyone!

At the beginning of May we went to Disney World in Orlando, FL.  This is part one of our adventures in the Magic Kingdom and Epcot!

We went to the Canoe Museum in Peterborough ON back in February and had lunch at a great brew pub - The Old Stone Brewing Co. [380 George Street North, Peterborough ON, (705)745-0495].  Here's the episode!  For pictures, check out our facebook page - http://www.facebook.com/album.php?fbid=1326342135034&id=1725355827&aid=35819

Ah, a new year, and hopefully a good one for our listeners and us.

This week's episode is a pubcast - as such, listener discretion is advised.  There are a few eff bombs, and we are podcasting from a pub discussing adult beverages, so use your judgement when choosing to listen.

We discuss the documentary Beer Wars, which discusses how microbrews are fighting for space on shelves with the Big Three (Budweiser, Miller, Coors) in the USA.  We also discuss other trivia, so pull your favourite pint (or other beverage) and tune in!

We have been wanting to do a cigar episode for a long time, so here's a not so brief overview of one of our favourite after dinner treats.

We like to think of ourselves as being culinary adventurous, but travel costs a lot of money, so until we get a radio or TV show we have to make due with the magic of books to transport us to exotic edibles and forbidden foods.  Tom's book (believe us, Mr. Bowles, it's better we refer to you informally in the show so we'll stop butchering your last name) is just the ticket to reading about dishes that you could only imagine yourself eating (or not eating).
